Brienz Rothorn Bahn

Hi Guys,

I met Ron Hawke at the Toronto Christmas Train Show.

He shared some photos of his home layout with me and I thought that I'd share them with you...

Ron has an HO Scale Meter Gauge layout [HOm] with a HOe rack incline.

I just (almost) finished the Rothorn Mountain that I started 3 yrs. ago. Because of illness, I just got back at it. I, attached a picture for you. Check out this Swiss railway web site, brienz-rothorn-bahn.ch/ picture gallery.

I had to kit bash to build the engines and cars.  The N scale Engine is built from a Life-like 060 and the cars were cut down from Roundhouse "Old Timers" Overton coaches, (basically I just needed the windows).

I just added a 5' section to the layout and buit a mountain for the little cog wheeled trains.
