Experienced newbie back in the fold
« on: July 09, 2010, 07:20:55 PM »
Since this is my first post on this forum, I shall introduce myself. Loch McDougall is the name, and for the last 12 years or so, I've been involved in 1/48 trolley modeling with the likes of Phil S., Doug S., Glen W. and the late Ivor W. Prior to that, I was quite narrow minded, often enjoying the company of the boys of the ML Mafia. Hope some of you are still around, still active and members of this group - I'd love to hear from you and get updated on whats new (or old!). Shortly, I'll post  photos of some of my latest buildings for comment. I've finally decided to start a new layout- the first in 15 years! Yes, it will be both a large 3' industrial complex (Porter heaven) and a standard gauge trolley line to support the work force. The period- sometime between 1914 and 1945. Yes, I'm thinking of a military theme, gotta do something with all those old Bandai and new Tamiya kits. Any comments will be warmly received.       Loch M

Hi Loch,

Welcome to the forum!

We'd love to see what you've got, and hopefully a portion will be portable so that you can bring it out for show and tell next April in Schomberg...
