hello everyone,   just here to say hi.  love to model on30.  do not have a layout, but that does not stop me from buying and building kits. just add them to the stock pile for the future layout. so hello and looks to be a great place to gather

Welcome to the group. Collecting and building is often as rewarding as a layout, and just think of the head start you have once you begin a layout. It is hard to stay away from ON30 - so much fun stuff out there. Please feel free to post pics of your work or progress on kits.

cheers Ferd

yes  iknow im ahead of the game. im now wanting to mold my own car frames ot of poly. 3 frame sizes to consider 16 ft, 20 ft and 24 ft. with these basic frames, i can do a multitude of rights and wrongs cheep, just cut and modify to make any car i need. almost sounds like fun, equipement now is mostly bachman with a few ho revamped into on30. i have also built 2 matching diesels almost to plan, but changed to suit me. now they need the triming, bells horns lights ect, rust and junk included. im considering modifying a mantua kelly booth ho engine for on30, seena couple on ebay they look great.  my mind wanders??????
